Voodoo2 to Voodoo3 GPL frame rates?

Could anyone with direct experience estimate the frame rate improvement in
GPL on a P2-450 going from a 12MB V2 card to a V3-3000 or 3500 assuming all
else remains the same?

Thanks,

Marc.

As Phillip says I did the same move on a PIII-450 - 5 Fps at the start was
about it but also I found I could move the detail bias up quite alot.
I had dual V2 12mb in SLI btw. The colours are also mych better on the V3.

Don't get caught like I did - after I upgraded to a V3 and PIII450 I started
to get frequent headaches. Turns out my monitor only supported 60mhz
vertical refresh rate at 1024X768. Cost me $AUS600+ to upgrade. Cured the
headaches though! Cheers,Andrew.

Awesome monitor you've got, since my monitor supports around 120Hz,
yours runs at a half a million times higher rate:)
Or did you mean millihertz???

Voodoo 1 Voodoo 2 or Voodoo 3.  What you will find with
many of the developers is they lock the frame rates at
50FPS to make the platforms all play evenly.
