It is supposed to be like that, to save bandwith. I think you can find info
about it in the manual or a readme-file.

I beleive that in Network (Net and LAN) GPL only shows you the first 5 cars
infront.. and 1 behind..

right???

By default, GPL limits its bandwidth usage for TCP/IP connections to
something approximating a modem.  If your network has IPX configured,
have the host allow connections on your IPX address, and have the
client connect via IPX.  If you only have TCP/IP configured, you can
place the following two lines in a plain text file named core.ini in
GPL's home directory.  These lines tell GPL to use LAN bandwidth
settings for non-dialup TCP/IP connections.

[ Communications ]
net_use_mdm_bandwidth_for_tcp_ip = 0

If you also play over the Internet, and if you your Internet connection
is anything other than a normal Windows dialup networking connection
(for example, if you have a cable modem), you'll need to comment out
the second line before trying to play over the Internet (just put a
semicolon (;) at the beginning of the net_use... line.)

With the default settings for TCP/IP it's 4 cars in front and 1 behind. When
cars
change positions, it can be 1 or 2 more temporarily.

Add this line to the [ Communications ] section in both your core.ini's:
net_use_mdm_bandwidth_for_tcp_ip = 0

Provided you have the default values for the net_lan_ parameters, both of
you should see all cars then.
