For anyone still left doubting the accuracy of GP2 as a simulation , I
quote from the UK Sunday Express 25/8
" Jacques Villeneuve outqualified Damon Hill in Belgium , then
admitted he owed his pole position to a child's computer game .
The Williams-Renault star confessed he has been playing Microprose's
new GP2 Grand Prix simulator between races .
It sounds childish and stupid I know , but the game is fairly close to
the real thing and gives a good idea of what corners come next . Thats
very useful , said Villeneuve .
I got pole here but I could only manage 18th on the grid in the game!
"
Not a bad endor***t for Crammond's masterpiece .
