21.83... I'm surprised nobody tried them/mentionned them on here... Are
they any good? Any problems with them?

They dont allow you to overclock you card or use the Geforce Tweak Utility.
I wouldnt use them.

Um, these drivers overclock fine and give excellent performance.

Post patch - I get silky smooth performance out of f1-2001 with
these drivers as well as most other games running well.

I use NVMAX to tweak my GF2 - it supports most of the tweaks
you would apply in normal ***.  Then again I'm sure there are
GF3 tweaks I wouldn't know about yet.  My GF2 runs overclocked
by about 6-7% (memory and core) and is stable with these drivers.

NVMAX supports forcing of the video driver options so if your driver
is unrecognised, it can still be tweaked.

23.11, eh?  I've been going with the 21.85 unreleaseds, like them pretty
well.

Depends on the manufacturer of the card...

Not exactly new, they've been around about 2 months (at a guess) now.  As
far as I can tell they work fine with everything.  Also they are recommended
for F1 2001 after applying the beta patch.  Fine with GPL as well.

The new nVidia drivers

by Lopez-Chapma » Tue, 11 Dec 2001 01:00:15

Hello,
I am running an old TNT card with 6.4 drivers.  Is there any reason to
upgrade to the new 23.xx drivers.  Are the new drivers optimized for my old
card, or would it be a waste and possibly trouble?

TIA,

Jeff
