Heck, I hate to date myself, (and it's a little OT) but back in the
day, between marathon sessions of multiplayer Doom and Duke Nukem 3D
on DWANGO (id software's short lived online service) I would play
Terminal Velocity, a space flying simulator kind of like Descent 3.
DWANGO used to post the speed of your processor next to your name, so
after a while I knew that anyone with a faster cpu than mine could
easily fly rings around me and shoot me down. So I only played TV with
people who had slower cpus. ;)
I think someone should take advantage of this and make a game that
REQUIRES the fastest kick ***computer to win, and post relative
computer performance ratings to back it up. "Dood! I'm rated at only
2.5 and I beat your 3.2!"
