Nascar 2 Sound problem

I have an IBM Aptiva, when I try to run this from Win95  I have sound but the
PC locks up before the game actually starts. When running in DOS mode
everything works fine except the sound.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm guessing you have IBM's crappy winmodem/sound card combo. My
advise....replace it. It causes problems when trying to run dos
applications from win95. Your PC is locking up because N2 is not
properly initiating the sound card.

If this is in fact what you have, and you intend to keep it, I believe
there are utilities that allow you to change the settings for dos
applications.
