I had Nascar 1 Running great in a dos window when I had It.
Many of my friends had it going too, But it chopped worse than usual.
I Do not remember the settings but try messing around with the Pif
shortcut.
Or E-mail Sierra\Papyrus, they use to have a FAQ at onetime on this issue.
Best bet though... Run that old dog in the back yard. Run it in dos.

It might depend on how much memory your machine has. Since Win95 will
need some memory of its own, there may not be enough to "share" with N1.
Try setting the Memory properties of your *.pif to have everything Auto
and check the Use HMA box under the Extended Memory area. You also want
the Screen Properties to be Full Screen. Also try setting the Command
Line in the *pif to run command.com (c:\windows\command.com) instead of
the batch file to run N1. Then run N1 from the DOS prompt.
