Yes, your game card will work.

The Vibra16 is made by Creative Labs. It is a Sound Blaster 16 in one
chip. It is 100% fully compatible with the SB16.

GP2 == Dell Optiplex hardware advice needed

I'm on the verge of buying a Dell Optiplex P166 since

a) my 486-33 is near death and
b) I want to play GP2 (and Close Combat and Battleground Waterloo)

I've been offered a good deal on the Dell, but have a couple of
questions ...

1. There doesn't seem to be a joystick port on the Optiplex.  I do
have an ancient CH Gamecard -- will this do the job? (The Gamecard box
set it autosets on machines all the way from 4 to 50 mhz!)

2. The salespeople are a bit evasive about sound -- they said
SoundBlaster, but the glossy brochure says the sound is something
called a Vibra 16 which is "SB compatible".  Uh-huh.

3. The onboard video -- the salespeople say it's actually a Diamond
Stealth, but again the glossy says "S3 Trio 64V+ accelerated 64-bit
PCI integrated, 2 MB 45ns)   In brief, is this reasonable or am I
looking at going straight out and buying a Diamond Stealth or Matrox
Millenium?

Thanks for any advice.
