OK, so you fast guys can stifle a yawn here, but...I cracked 9:30 at the
'Ring! Woohoo! YES! Ramalamadingdong!

I've been practicing for an F3 league race later this week, lap after
lap after lap...thinking "It's gonna be a lonely last lap." I haven't
been driving F1 much at all lately 'cause of the league.

So, just for fun, I fired up my F1 Ferrari with Allison's setups, did an
outlap and dug into it. After F3, the sensation of speed was fantastic!
Shift fast...brake...hang the back end out...hold on!!!...damn! Missed
that one, *** the gas...airborne!...nailed that
one!...yikes...whew...the straight!...punch it...downshift...easy
now...back on the gas...there's the line...I'm across...where's the
board...9:29:xx!!! (joyous noises, see above) Previous best was 9:43:xx
or so. That got me a few places at GPLRank...

I -love- GPL!!!

Talking of which, there are loads of people off the ringers list
http://www.racesimcentral.net/) going there at easter, so if
anyone off RAS can make it and wants to meet up?

It is good to mix up classes at the same track, cause you usually end up
learning something about a particular corner you didn't know before.  You
also really should try FG (F3 motor, F1 chassis), with that you could easily
beat that F1 9:30 time.

Is there a special event at Easter or is the track open for public
then?

Hi Dave,

Yeah, I saw your post concerning your "rebuild" of your GPLRank and I've added
you to my buddies list to keep tabs. You've got nothing to fear from me...at
the moment...8^)

(All spelling errors are intentional and are there to show new
