Hello,
As many others in this group I no longer can run N2 in W95 after the
Patches. I was wondering if anyone had any info on this problem. I hope
that there is some kinda fix so You can run it in the NROS(which if it
works like everything else on TEN will have to run in W95) When I try to
run it this way it just totallt locks up. Some times I might make itall
the way to the track and start driving and then it crashes(the computer
that is) other times it locks up before I even get that far. It runs
fine in DOS. Ideas? anyone?

I have asked this Question about 10 times and have yet to get a response
from Papy or Sierra.

Hey Jim
Thought that at first but I seem to have all those damn adjustments
worked out :) Wish I had tested it on the old system but it seems like
alot of others are having the same trouble so I doubt if its the system
(atleast thats what I'm telling myself :-) )

Hopefully, when the new executable is written to allow us to run on
TEN, all these problems will go away.

Most games have a special file that you execute to play it on TEN, so
I'd guess we will have to get a new one to play N2.

NROS.exe, N2TEN.exe, etc would be a few examples.

I don't know if it will fix the problems or not, but I hope it does.

It may be the system...I've never done much in the way of running
N2 in Win95 until the subject of this thread came up. I don't seem
to show any of these problems you speak of, and everything is OK
(all patches in place).

FWIW, I have a P100, generic 430i VX, 16Mb, Rendition card, SB-AWE32...
