Hey,
I downloaded the patch to upgrae ICR2 (or whatever its called now) to
win 95, and all the appropiate patchs, and I keep getting a
KERNEL32.DLL error.  I have direct draw turned off.  Everthing else
works untill I start the race, when I get the affored mentioned
KERNEL32.DLL error.  I have a P75, 24 megs, no 3dx card.  Any one else
have this problem, and more importantly, any one know how to fix it?

You may  not like, but my fix was to s***the Win95 patch.  It always
crashed on me (though I was lucky enough to get my patch to allow me to
race on the track).  Also the performance hit it takes is too high
(especially for your system).  On a P75, stick with the pure DOS
version.

I agree with Michael's assesment of ICR2's poor Win95 performance; DOS
is the way to go.  Also, make sure you have the Win95 service pack
installed.  You can download the update at http://www.racesimcentral.net/

Cheers!

Try turning off direct sound instead direct draw, that did the trick for me.

Your right, that did the trick.  Thanks.  Now I have to figure if I
want to have the patch, or just stick with the dos version.  But at
least I have the choice....
