hi...
has anyone gotten gpl to work in win2k using a v3 3000 card?
i have tried every driver, oldest to latest, but still doesnt not work...
it will always give me the same problem...
after clickon on the game...it shows the gpl first screen...
once it blanks and onto the main menu...its all garbled and nothing
works....

im using win2k pro with sp1.....
various v3 win2k drivers...to no avail...
gpl with latest patch....

it pisses me off that it just worked first time on my lil bros
comp...win2k, sp1 but hes got geforce 1 card...

id luv to race online but atm...its not gonna happen  =(

Yes - my mate's machine had it going.

BUT

We were using a D3D Patch - not 3DFX mode

You'll need George Smileys Glide-o-matic patch, available from
www.kotr.de/org

(as www.gplea.org domain is down at least here).

ps: Read the readme of the patch.
