Has anyone got this setup working yet? Is there a secret recipe I haven't
tried?
Win2k is tons better that win98, and would like to upgrade my dedicated
GPL system to it, but have not been able to get it to work right.

Use the official w2k 3dfx drivers from their site and patch form:
http://www.the-fastlane.com/patches/glide2x.zip . FF doesn't work in GPL
under W2k ( at this moment ) though.

Does if you have a MS FF wheel.

Hmmm, all that seemed to do was crash gpl...
I installed the latest win2k drivers from 3dfx and then copied the
glide2x.dll patch, which is a year old glide2x dll file, over the newer dll
from 3dfx in the system32 directory. Set up gpl to use 3dfx, and restart
gpl....Application error.
Something I'm doing wrong?

I haven't had success either with W2k and a Voodoo 3000. It works in
software but not in glide.

Oh thank you! That worked like a charm. I do appreciate your hard work on a
fine patch.

Of course I am still sore from getting reamed two days in row (although I
really did have a patch with no instructions - Honest)

I guess 'just' being a Cisco network engineer doesn't make me cool enough to
hang with you programmer guys anymore...  ;-)
