I have installed the new Audigy EX Platinum card and now my sounds in N4
seem off, I can barely hear my engine sound and its at 100, the other
drivers engines and my spotter are blowing me away when they come on and
they are set at like 5. I replaced a Soundblaster Live and never had any
problems with it. I have tried Direct3d, EAX and even A3D, all sound the
same.

Morris,

IU ahd the exact same problem on my Win98 install of Nascar 4 when I
upgraded my SB Live to the Audigy.

Whatever the audigy drivers did my engine was silent and the other sounds
were real loud.

I tried the mea***er soundpack and Chad Sparks 1.6 pack with the same
results.

I ended up doing the following on my Win98 box.

Uninstalled Nascar 4
Rebooted
Reinstalled N4 and the latest patches and all was well.

Very odd problem, also make sure you have NO EAX environment set in the
Audigy game settings as this screws things up
