Same with me. Everything else uses my 5.1 speakers except GPL. I just
removed my Audigy to try out the nForce2 sound. With the Audigy I got sound
in GPL through all speakers, but that may have been because the 5700
receiver was then set to emulate 5.1. I now have the nForce2 sound set to
decode to 5.1 so now if there is only a stereo signal, I guess it will only
go through the 2 speakers.
I haven't decided yet if I'm going to keep the Audigy out permanently yet.
Certainly the nForce gets rid of the crackling and distorting problems I had
in some games, e.g. NR2002, but I don't feel that the nForce has the same
depth or quality sound as the Audigy.
