SCGT Demo Controller Question

SCGT Demo Controller Question

by Bertram Hoenigman » Thu, 15 Apr 1999 04:00:00

I'm using a TSW Wheel with Split axis, and I can't set the controllers
the way I want them.

Using manual shifting, I want to reverse the default controller setting
so that the right paddle shifter shifts up, and the left shifts down.
Also, I find that no matter what I do, the demo controls the throttle
(floors it, as a matter of fact), so that my only speed control is
careful use of the brake.

Again, the demo does not let me change from the default settings.  Has
any body had these same problems and figured a way around them?

Thanks.

When you go to change a value in the controller setting, it asks you for the
keyboard key and then the controller input.  Also, make sure it works fine
in control panel first, before you try in SCGT.  SCGT relies on the control
panel for it to work.  If you're still having problems, e-mail me at

Also make sure you have the Split Axis patch located on Adam's web
page.  The demo originally did not recognize split (dual) axis
controllers, however the retail full game version will.
