Changing controller settings with SCGT - Help!!

I can't seem to change with mapping for the controls on my Logitech FF
wheel.  I'd like to switch the upshift to right paddle and downshift to the
left.  The game seems to only allow you to change the keyboard defaults.
Changing the mapping via the Wingman profiler didn't work either.  Help!!! I
can't play GPL and SCGT with opposite shifter settings.  Am I missing
something simple here?

Thanks in Advance,

JH

Yep, you are! Confused me at first too (probably in the instructions!).

If you slect the control you want to change, it first goes to the
keyboard. If you press escape, it will ask for the controller input.
Just use whatever control you want, and bingo.

You do have to have the controller input enabled over at the check box
on the left also I think.

yeah I use that same setup.  You first choose a keyboard input and
THEN choose a wheel controller input.
for instance I chose the right arrow key for upshifts(i.e. 2nd to 3rd)
Then I pull on the right paddle for the same option.    Should work with
or without the Logi profiler

At Monza, The only way to pass someone on either of the straits is if
you are drafting.  The Regular F3 drivers have been using Bump drafting
to get away from everyone behind us :)
