Yep.  It's the same with the MSFFW.

Smae with the Logitech. Might as well be no FF at all IMHO. Without
on-track support there's nothing to increase your ability to drive the
car, and almost nothing (aside from rumble strips) to give any feeling
of immersion.

In fact this is why I'm not buyint SCGT. If they do a decent FF patch
I'd probably get it, but without it I remain uninspired by this game.

Ya got your quotes mixed up.  I have the MSFFW, not the ActLabs.

You know, Force-Feedback is starting to fall out of favor with me.  I've
been swapping back and forth, and especially in games that require a lot
of steering input, like off-road and road courses, I find the force
feedback wheels actually slow me down.  It's mainly because they add a
molassas effect to the steering.

And, PowerSlide is damn near impossible to play with Force-Feedback.  At
least with the MSFFW.  You have to do so many steering inputs into that
game, that the molassas effect of force-feedback wheels keeps you behind
the car almost all the time.  In Powerslide, I just bounce back and
forth between guardrails, or whatever is there, from left to right
because I'm _always_ behind what the car is asking for.
