Hi

I cant get the Colin McRae demo to work.
It starts, i hear my 3dfx card click , black screen, then straight
back to windows no errors nothing.
anyone had this prob?

Almost evryone had this prob... It's an beta demo. A better one should
follow. Wished they'd said that before I downloaded the 40 Mb $^#*&$^%^ on
my 28.8 K modem...

Make sure you have DX6 installed.

I was  running the demo under DX5 with a Canopus pure 3d and a
Hercules Terminator 3D/DX. The demo would always default to the S3
terminator and everything would be transparent. After installing
Directx6, transparencies were gone and  the demo would at last use the
Pure 3d for rendering.

Looks absolutely great now.  Miles ahead of the PSX version. The
handling is immaculate and wheel support should be avilable in the
next demo which Codies are supposed to be releasing very shortly.
