Anyone got a clue on how to get the Colin McRae Rally demo working?
It doesn't work on my P166MMX with Voodoo Rush nor on my P133 with S3.
Maybe it just doesn't work at all, but after 4 hours of downloading I
don't want to believe this!

I had to uninstall DirectX 6.0 :(

Worked on my P2 400 with a Monster 3DII (voodoo2) 12MB and STB nVidia
8MB. Hope you find someway to run it, I enjoy it even though it's not
completely realistic (but then what really is). It's pretty fun in the
in-car mode. The game is basically a mix between arcade and simulation,
which makes a pretty good game if done right, like this.

I heard that the version of the demo we downloaded was not an official
release. Codemasters will be releasing a new demo shortly (I hope :)

Works for me with Directx 6 & Thriller

I Emailed Codemasters about the current demo which
I found to be very poor and this is the response I
got.

So I guess we have to wait for a decent demo but
hopefully it will be worth it.
