GPL...can't get FF working with MSFF

by Dave St.Ong » Mon, 05 Feb 2001 09:02:56

Folks...

I've been unable to play GPL for a quite a while, and now the FF doesn't
seem to work.  I've played around with the settings in the core.ini,
adjusting latency, damping, and torque, setting enable FF to 0 and 1 (can't
remember which one is enable/disable), and nothing.  I have verified my FF
settings in the control panel, and have even gone into N3 and it works fine
there.  If anyone with the MSFF could send me their settings, or any help,
that would be greatly appreciated...

This works for me.

[ Joy ]
allow_force_feedback = 1                 ; Use FF if device has it
force_feedback_damping = 350.0        ; force feedback damping coefficient
force_feedback_latency = 0.025     ; force feedback latency (secs)
max_steering_torque = 300.0       ; steering torque in N*in giving max
device force
