Richie... you need to add the mouse.com (if this is the program which
starts your mouse) line to the file called dosstart.bat .
for example, mine follows :
C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND\MSCDEX.EXE /D:MSCD000 /V /M:12
C:\other\felmouse.com
C:\games\sierra\nascar2\nascar2.exe -4f
the first line is my cdrom driver, in case I need cdrom for anything...
second line starts my mouse...
third, of course, starts N2...automatically on quit to dos...
I mean, why else would I be in dos >? LOL :)
dosstart.bat is in your windows directory, and can be edited by simply
right clicking, selecting edit, left clicking....edit, close....
will ask you to save changes ? yes.... done :)
of course, as always, your mileage may vary, and there might be other
problems we don't know about, as well... let me know if this does/doesn't
help seeya!
ps... I do know that this is normally not a problem on a win95 restart in
dos.... are you perhaps rebooting to a *previous* version of dos?
just a thought...
