I'm having a problem setting up nascar2 when I go in to DOS to start N2 it
tells me that a mouse is needed to run this game.How is this......... my
mouse works fine the rest of the time? I have even tryed to install the
game over but it says the same thing HELP........... it's somthing I'm
just over looking please help.
You need to have a mouse driver loaded when playing in DOS
mode. Search around for documentation that's specific to the one
you're using (i.e.; MS, Logitech, generic, etc.).
FWIW, a Microsoft command (in autoexec.bat) might look like
this:
SET MSINPUT=C:\MSINPUT
LH C:\MSINPUT\MOUSE\MOUSE.EXE /Q
Of course, for the above to work, you would have to have both
an MS mouse, as well as a directory called msinput. Hope this gets
you pointed in the right direction.<g>

Nascar2 was made to run in windows... You need to make a batch file first
with mouse.com in it. It should boot your mouse up. That or play right from
windows. I had teh samr problem but I just played from windows
