Please help with Nascar2 steering problem

by Tim McCauslan » Sat, 23 May 1998 04:00:00

I just bought a Thrustmaster GP1 and it works perfectly with F1RS, but in
Nascar2 it's so unresponsive I can't drive. I'm using an adjustable game
card and have calibrated it in every way, shape and form.  Please help, N2
was the main reason I bought the wheel.

This possibility is so obvious you've probably checked already, but just
in case, make sure you have "Wheel" selected and not "Joystick" on the
Nascar2 options page. If "Joystick" is selected, you'll get a rising
rate type of control that feels very dead near neutral (to prevent
overcontrol with a stick).
