When I load nascar2 I can get to the screen before I go out on the
track. Picture of car in garage. Then my mouse cursor starts jumping
and if I try to click on anything the computer won't do anything.

I had the same problem. I was using the Microsoft "Intellipoint" mouse
driver. I switched to a generic mouse driver in dos and had no further
problems. I don't know if this is your problem but it did fix mine.
