GPL, Logitech and Split Axis

Just got a LWFF Wheel.  Used it all week, worked fine.  Now
this weekend I tried to "improve it" by enabling spilt
axis.  It worked briefly, then the game crashed and now I am
having a hellofatime getting it reset.  What is the trick on
this?

GPL refuses to see the wheel, the brake and the gas pedal
all at the same time.  When trying to assign actions to each
it freezes up and I have to do a hard reboot.   (I've done
about twenty of those the last two hours already.)

BTW, I am tring to use the profiler with it.

Try disconnecting the USB connection and then reconnect. It should load the
drivers again. Your computer should be ON for this.Hope you figure it out.

Make sure you have downloaded and installed the latest profiler
software, 3.3 I believe.
This version allows you to preset axis splitting for each game you
run. For gpl you should have no problems running split axis, everyone
else does.

You should not have to assign actions to your gas and brake, maybe
that's what you are doing wrong. They are simply brake and gas, and
aren't changed. You can assign buttons as you like though.
