F1 2002 question

Hi all,

After playing all the incarnations of the Crammond series, I've now gone to
the other side, and am loving F1 2002 - except for the lack of save game and
hotseat features. My question to those of you who have always played the EA
sims: did earlier versions allow for game saves? I'm wondering whether this
could be included in a patch, or whether that's just wishful thinking.

Thanks,
Jacques

Far as I've read here it hasn't existed before either. The lack of mid-race
savegame completely baffles me too. It's the main reason I'm not playing
F12002 a whole lot yet. I prefer driving full lenght races and I'm not gonna
waste 1.5 hours just to have a crash when fighting for podium on the final
lap.

For the ones who _didn't_ realize what I meant (I'm assuming you did, by the
smiley), that was computer crash not car crash I was referring to.
