Is there anyway I can set things up so the rendition is an add-on bord?
I have a Stealth 3D 4MB card that is quite good. The Rendition card
appeals to me but I'm not willing to get it if it means getting rid of
my present card

No, the Rendition cards are only 2D/3D combos. There is not a 3D only
add-on version.
