papy/sierra. The version is up to 1106.
2. http://www.racesimcentral.net/;That's where
you can find the patch, discussion forum and FAQ for the beta patch. When
you arrive at the URL, you will be at the forum area, click on "Nascar
Racing 3 Beta Build" to get the patch. You'll see the link for the FAQ.
Some quick words on some things it adds/changes. Adds chat rooms to the
arena servers. That way you can chat with people waiting to race and if
you're in a race, can see the chat lobby outside the race too. Adds 3d
wheels to the cars, which is a nice touch I think. Adds better looking
sparks too, for when you brush the walls. Adds alot of other things I can't
recall at the moment, but make sure you read the forums some too. Alot of
people get into the FF wheel stuff. Also it can be a tad laggy than the
non-patched version of the game. (Hint: Add the patch, then remove it
following instructions in FAQ and you'll still have wheel fixes, graphics
updates when going back to non-patch version, hehe)
3. I have never had a FF wheel, so I can't help you in this area. Though I'm
sure you can find discussion about it in the forum area of the URL I gave
for the patch. (Forums are included with the beta patch, hehe)
4. There's a controller 1 and controller 2 thing in Nascar 3, i'm sure
you've seen that. As far as 2 different wheel/pedal combo's, dunno. I know
I've owned wheels that could accomodate 4 different axis's, making me have
to use both controller 1 AND 2 to calibrate it, and it worked fine. So I'm
guessing if you have a wheel, or multiple wheel setup rig type thing that it
would work also. But don't hold me to that quote if it don't work. ;o) Just
can only say it worked for me with a 4 axis wheel.
5. Good to see you have no desire in Daytona, lol, it's more trouble than
it's worth. Let's boycott Daytona!!
And right on mate!!
