Wonderful!  My new fave.  I love the chicanes on the back straight.  I now find
myself wishing that more old tracks included chicanes.. strange, that...

No problems here.
This must be the most colourful track to date.
Nice work tho,

What a great set of new tracks we've had recently,

Castle-Combe, Adelaide and now this

GREAT!

My browser thinks it's a vrml site and stops on an "unrecognised header"
error.

DL worked tho'... thanks.

Well I actually re-installed GPL just so I could try out this track.
Installed the patches. Set it to the DirectX rasterizer. Changed it to the
resolution I wanted. Re-started. Even re-booted. Unfortunately it is forcing
me to run it in 640x480 which is a mess. Any solutions?

I guess something must have went wrong when you installed the D3D
patch - I suggest you double-check the direct-3d entry in the core.ini
file and check if you made all the necessary d3d-changes.
Here's my d3d part from the core.ini:

[ Direct3D7 ]
D3DDevice = 0
TossHighestMip = 0
DoubleMirrorResWidth = 1
DoubleMirrorResHeight = 1
DirectMirrorRendering = 1
DisableZBuffer = 0
AlphaThreshold = 1
TransparentMipsDrawOrder = 1
TrilinearFiltering = 1
AnisotropicFiltering = 2
LODBias = -150

I think when it only lets you run in 640x480 mode, you are running the
software mode instead of d3d, which looks really crappy indeed.

  I just have one question after looking at those screen shots.  Why was the
car always between the white lines?  Is that normal?

I changed my core.ini to match yours, but still the same problem. FF doesn't
work either. Also, the game crashed to the desktop when I crashed the car on
a few occasions.

I did some laps around the track though, and it is definitely a very, very
well done track.

Seems like it doesn't reckognize your core.ini file, since ff doesn't
work either.
Thinking deep now.. I can remember some people had problems with the
core.ini because there was an hidden extension behind it.
The default core.ini in the gpl folder is named core.ini.sample, and
on some systems the .sample part is hidden and gpl simply ignores this
core.ini.sample file.
Could you check if yours has a hidden extension?

What you also can do is extract my core.ini file to your gpl folder:
http://members1.chello.nl/~a.warringa1/core.zip

PS you also installed update 1.2 from www.papy.com ?
This is necessary for the force feedback to work.

I put your core.ini in but still the same problems (forced 640x480). Even
did a complete re-install (with your core and again the 1.2 patch and D3D
patch, in that order), but no luck.
