Hi.
I got the icr104.zip patch for both my friend and myself. While the
joystick patch has been great...we've had extensive trouble getting our modems
to hook together. I have a ZOOM 14.4k fax/data. He has a DSI 14.4k SoftModem
(software upgradeable). I used the init string (found in the icr104.txt file)
for my ZOOM on his modem...ONLY after extensively reading his modem's manual and
finding all the same Hayes 'at' commands to disable the 4 options on his modem
were the same as the init string of mines'. I tried it..indy recognized his
modem and it dialed. The only part of the init string I could not find was
"s37=9". This I assume sets the modem to connect at 9600 baud. Am I wrong?
The problem occurs when it says "Connected at 9600"..it then just hangs. I
don't get that icon the text file mentions in the lower-right corner. I
understand I am only supposed to wait a fraction of a second until this icon
appears. Is this right? Any help answers or comments would greatly be
appreciated. Thanks.
