F12K Smooth FPS How?

by mjones5 » Tue, 28 Mar 2000 04:00:00

I think I read back a day or two ago how to get smoother fps, in F12k.
Just got the game today, and a little disapointed at the FPS .

System is:

PIII600mhz
128ram
3dfx 3500
27gig HD.

Thanks
Morris

I've got almost the same system 'cept I've got a 3dfx 3000 and I have
absolutely everything on without a slowdown.  When in traffic I get a slight
pause but that's only when I begin to get into traffic.  After that initial
pause, everything goes smooth again.  Wierd.

Tip, take the game as it is.  It's a great game, but it's a cpu\fps hog.
If neccicary down the resolution, graphics, cars drawen, or even turn on
some of the unseen features as found in the
/"game"/save/"username"/"username.plr file.  I hear mip maping works
really well on.
