I'm inclined to stick with the Glide driver for now - on my 15" screen,
800x600 is fine. BUt is there any point in d/l-ing the D3D driver?

Subject: GPL - Worth getting the D3D patch for a Voodoo 3?

I found I could run with the detail slider set further to the right with the
D3D patch on my V3 2000 with the same framerate. Give it a go. It's only
230k to download.

i tried it, but got serious frame stutter on my V3 and went
back to the glide rasterizer (training mode great in both
versions).
