GPL D3D patch for Matrox G200

Fellow Ringmiesters-
    If you guys have a Matrox G200 in addition to your Voodoo boards,
you can try out the new patch for GPL in D3D. I found it at the Matrox
site and the file date is today (8th,) and the size is a very
downloadable 53kb. I did get and chance to try it when I got home today.
While the look of the graphics is nothing to write home about, the
framerate hovers above 25fps on my P2/300 with an 8meg G200. Not too
shabby for an early beta patch. Look in the patch section at;
    http://www.racesimcentral.net/  Actually, maybe it's in the 3d ***
section. Heck, if you're interested you'll find it easy enough <ggg.>
    Decisions, decisions- I love the G200 for it's screaming D3D in
Janes WW2 Fighters demo, but I'm tempted to yank it out and throw my
Thriller back in for GPL. Of course the Voodoo board runs 'em all, but
doesn't look as good or support as high a resolution. Dang, what I need
is a mobo with _two_ AGP ports. Yeah, that's the ticket <ggg.>
    All the best, Mike

I don't even have a Matrox card, and I went over to there and sure enough there
is a patch.  It doesn't day D3D just 3D accelerated for G200.  Kudos to matrox
for their attention to their products.
