Matrox G200 problem with GPL

Hi,

I've downloaded the MGA-G200 patch and put the rastg200.dll file in my GPL
directory. I also installed the latest Matrox drivers, and DirectX 6. I was
very happy to see a G200 pick in the GPL graphics selection, but when I pick
it and re-start GPL it crashes and I get an error (below).

Any ideas? I am running a PII 233, AB-LX6 motherboard, Windows95, Millennium
G200 AGP.

I really want to get this running! Tried the Matrox support, but I'd like to
get it going this weekend! It looks like a great sim.

Matrox G200 problem with GPL

Actually (IMO) the G200 is a pretty decent 3d card...  I have a 12Mb Voodoo2
as well and the g200 can give some pretty surprising results in some games.
Motocross Madness is one game in particular were I use the g200 instead of
the voodoo2.

Hi Kcdc,

Make sure you switch your color to 16bit..  While your at it try 640x480 16bit
color.

Thats the only glitch I've heard of.

I'm from Calgary too. :) Cable modem and all.
Man is GPL fun on and off the 'net!
