Could you PLEASE give us a percent-done number for the Nascar2 patch??
Just say 20% done, 50% done, 80% done?? I'm not asking for a date, so
you're not really flame-able if you don't make the date, people won't
know how long it takes to do 40% of the patch... WE (I) NEED TO KNOW!!!!
hehehe, please? Thanks,

Just forget it hes not going to tell you.It shouldnt take that long
though.I mean there are allot of games out there that had allot worst bugs
than Nascar2 but they allready have patches out. I think Papy is to busy
working on that obsolete antique legends sim.I could care less about a 1967
era sim or what ever it is untill Nascar2 is fixed.

Give Jim a break - the guy does a great job answering our questions.

In any project it ain't done until its done - just cross your legs and
exercise sphincter control until Papyrus say their next dose of
awesomeness is good and ready.

Well, if their next dose of "awesomeness" is as buggy as their current
dose of "awesomeness", I don't think it'll be too "awesome"..

I agree totally, but I see a trend forming here.. release a new game of
a different racing genre, forget about and ignore all the past
projects.. They shouldn't (IMO) even start the F1 sim until they fix the
bugs in N2, and ICR2, even though ICR2 is out of the question now..

That's your opinion, and of course you're entitled to it.

I can point out though that the resources currently being utilized on
the NASCAR 2 patch are not conflicting with the other projects.
(Papyrus is too big now to play the game of software development like
8 year olds play soccer, with everyone running after the ball in a big
gaggle.)

The work on the patch is able to go on in parallel with the upcoming
projects.

My, my, could you send me a brochure from the latest Dale Carnegie
seminar you attended; I should probably attend one so I can be more
pleasant to deal with...

Why skirt the issue? Take the following multiple choice test (mark all
that apply)
a) It's not my job to announce release dates of our products or
patches.
b) That responsibility falls on management and PR at Papyrus and
Sierra.
c) They've elected to release no information regarding the release
date of the N2 patch at this time.
d) It's part of my job to respect that election.

How to calculate your score: Give yourself 25% for each answer you've
marked.

Hope you got a 100% done, uh I mean right.

If you don't like it, don't play it.

I hardly think that N2's current very minor bugs detract much from the
sheer good fun to be had.

You got a bad dose of negative attitude, fella.

Why dont you give Jim a break???  He's active on this Newsgroup on
his own time.....He's been quite a bit of help to the non-whiners
here...
In a sense Jim is a volunteer, and for those of us that have real
jobs, can appreciate the amount of extra effort it takes to
volunteer thier free time.
N2 has some bugs but is an improvement over N1... and I would imagine
a lot of work is being put in the "patch" so that when the NRO goes
online it will be as smooth and bug free as possible.  If you don't
like N2 then take it up with Sierra Customer Support.. Not Jim.

Finished or no, it's worth a damn sight more than 60 bucks.

Racing sims are the only computer software that see me constantly
returning to the PC for more. Comparing them to other programs or other
leisure activities the top three sims are all incredible value for money
<g>

I suggest that you and all the other whiners look at what you have got,
rather than bemoaning what you do not have.

Cheers,
Richard
