Nascar Legends replay prob.

Is anyone else having probs with Legends kicking out of sim and back
to desktop in Win95 after installing the Sierra patch?

If so, is there a solution?

My replays viewer was working just fine right up till patched prog,
now whenever I select the view replays option on main menu it kicks
all the way out and closes the prog so the isn't even a taskbar icon
to re-enter the sim.

Again, this didn't start until *after* Patched with Sierras update.

Thanks
Ron

Also, this is with new replays (made since patch) only.

Tested by deleting all old replays and those not made by me, even with
just last Sundays crash repl;ay it kicks out as soon as I select View
Replays at main menu :(

Did you, by any chance, also upgrade DirectX and or video drivers lately?

Sounds like you have one or more corrupt replay files.  Try adding
them back one at a time until you find the culprit.

Still did it with only this sundays qual run.

Tried deleting it and went to Greenville, made 5 sec test replay in
practice mode. Still got kicked out when selected view replay, may
have to do fresh install <drat> have to delete then reinstall as low
on drive space. Though may be picking up an HP 8665 with 11mg agp3d
and 128 ram in few days.

Move all of your .RPL files out of c:\papyrus\nlegends\replays and try
to get into the View Replay screen.  If you can do that add each replay
file back one at a time, each time going back into the game and opening
the View Replay screen.  Odds are somewhere along the way you'll find
the one which is causing the game to crash.  Delete this replay.

If it crashes even when no replays are present then most likely the 2
layout files for the replay screen which were added in the patch have
been removed.  Look for rpload2.lyt and rpload2.win in your
c:\papyrus\nlegends\layout folder.  If they are not there the solution
is to reinstall the 1.2.0.4 patch.
