realism in GP2?

Id like to get some comments from other gp2 nuts. What do U think
about following subjects in gp2?

1. car handling - it seems the car handles VERY similarly no matter if
its very light or on a heavy fuel load. That means your qual. setup
works very well on race too. Id like to tune the car for the race
more and like to see it behave differently when its heavier.

2. Tyre wear. hmmm...what wear. I have run now 3  100% pro races and
althought have locked up my brakes zillion times and spun few less I
cannot make the tyres to wear out...it didnt matter if I ran on a 1
pitstop strategy or 2. Id like to see the lap times drop as the tyres
wear out gradually. Or is it like in gp1 that the tyres suddenly
became very slow...seems like it.

(together these things make it seem that 1 stop is the best
option...but seems like the laptimes R slower when the cars R heavier
although the driveability is the same.)

3. Did U find any mention about how to act when pitstopping in the
manual  - I didnt...how many times do I have to press fire, space or
whatever when I pitstop? Whats the correct procedure?

4. the car still seems to have an arcade damage settings(like f1gp) -
U have to hit the barrier HARD to damage it. Its nice though that U
can lose your front wing when going to gravel or landing after a
contact.

5. When driving with keyboard(like me) and U catch a backmarker and he
moves kindly over(nice thing indeed) and it drives the corner wide
your car seems to "follow" it and not to use the ideal cornering line
and this makes it sometimes quite tricky to overtake the backmarkers
in corners. No problem in straight line though.

6. back to braking...with keyboard the brakes lock up very often
indeed - luckily it doesnt flatspot em...but it makes couple of
corners very tricky when the tyres lock up. (try interlagos inner
sections and its slow corners where U have to turn while braking).
Does it help to put the brake balance towards rear when tyres lock up?

7. Altough its very playable with keyboard some fast corners R quite
tricky where U cant just hold the turning key down and U have to tap
it quickly like the Parabolica in Monza and the car wont follow the
ideal line.

8.Has anyone tried to drive without throttle help with keyboard or
joystick? It seemed undriveable(guess it needs pedals)...althought I
didnt setup the car at all...

9.It would have been nice to see the track conditions change from
session to session...more grip, more wind etc. (like in IRC2)...and
the rain...:-(. Now it seems that the conditions R always the same.

hmmm...guess thats all...for now.

Any comments?

PS. Dont get me wrong - I love this game :-)

realism in GP2?

(I'll change to wheel/pedals as soon as I get a compatible I/O-card)
I do not use throttle help and the car is tricky to drive but seems more
realistic. Using longer gear ratios and/or not using 1st gear as much as
in GP1 (also more realistic) helps though. In 1st, 2nd and even 3rd gear
corners you have to blip the throttle and change gears quickly to get
best possible grip. Makes the driving more demanding and _much_ more fun
:^) After one days practice it is still pretty hard to get one lap
without mistakes. I haven't setup the car yet, either.
