Hi Michael:
To change the number of qualifying laps for a given track, do the following:
1. Go into the the subdirectory for the track you want to change. For
example, to change Atlanta, " cd nascar/tracks/atlanta".
2. Using the DOS text editor, edit the file "Atlanta.txt". There is a line in
this file that starts with "QUAL" followed by two numbers. I can't remember
what the first number means, but the second number determines the number of
qualifying laps. In the Atlanta file, I believe the number that is in there is
"1", so to have a two lap qualifying run, change this number to "2", save the
file, and exit.
3. You will have to repeat this for each track to wish to change. I think
that Talladega is the only track that comes pre-set for a two lap qualifying
run.
This should do it for you.
