What video cards/accelerators are you using?

by Vince Sava » Fri, 28 Nov 1997 04:00:00

I am currently using a Diamond Stealth 3D video card with 4 meg on board.
I am satisfied with the performance but was wondering how much better
it could be.  I'm looking for input as far as what others are using and
what is recommended.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

(my news reader is a bit flakey!!)

Thanks.

Well, I have an ancient ATI Mach64+ Turbo 2MB ISA vid card, and a
Monster 3D 3DFX card.. The ATI card is the weak link, obviously, but
if you add in any 3dfx card, you'll be VERY happy you did. The Riva
cards are quite nice too, just not as pretty in 3D, from what I've
heard.

Creative Graphics Blaster 3D with 4MB
Diamond Monster 3D with 4MB
Terrific combination, performance is awesome.  Video in games which
support 3DFX is not to be believed.
