GP3 Graphics engine really is bad with the slowmo effect

While GP3 is starting to grow on me and I have now decided to get it
again, im really upset at the slowmo effect that GC carried over from
GP2, The Slowmo effect is the most obvious at the very start of the
races only, but I have come to the conclusion after testing in every
res supported by my V3 card in GP3 that im not going to be able to get
rid of it.

All my testing was done at ITALY with all the cars on ACE mode so that
they made a dash for the start, I have mapped a the O key to a button
on my wheel and I have tape over so it keeps it pressed in. I started
at the back of the grid all the time and made a dash for the front,
everytime as soon as you get to the first corner occupancy would go
way up to 300 in 1024x768 to about 230-250 in 640x480 not once did the
cars feel like they were going fast untill they had all got past the
big mess at corner1, I also noticed that if a car happened to spin at
corner 1 the occupancy was worse as all the cars piled up behind it
waiting to try and pass.

I did this testing as I wanted a to get my occupancy down for the
whole race and not just to be under 100 after all the cars are
seperated after the first 2-3 laps. But I have given up as its not
going to happen with the old GP2 engine enhanced for GP3.

The only other thing bothering me still is the no 3 axis support for
modern race controllers but I reakon that will be fixed in a patch as
there will be a big outcry from the rest of the RAS group once they
have the offical version soon.

Other than that GP3 is real fun to drive and its quite a ride in a
race, I wouldnt call it a sim of a F1 car though more a sim of F1
racing because if it was a F1 car sim Willams would be knocking at my
door and asking to sign up my gran who came 5th in a Pro race at ITALY
just last night. :) after only 20 mins on the track. BTW she is a real
fan of F1 racing and my game caught her eye and I sat here down and
gave her ago, couldnt get her back of the computer for about 1 hour.

GO GRAN GO :).

Strangely I cannot remember a decent modern F1 game where
this was not a problem. World Circuit, GP2, F1RS and F1 2000
all seem plagued by this.

You're joking a bit, right?  :-)
