Hi all,
In the Euro version of N2002, can anyone tell me what real Nascar
drivers are missing from the sim. I would like to load them in once I
know who I dont have !

Sterling Marlin, the current points leader, is missing (at least he was
from the US version). I downloaded his car from
http://www.pw2002.racesim.net/ and then added him using the opponent
manager. While you're there you can also delete all the bogus drivers
in the roster.

His teammate, Jimmy Spencer is also missing from the US version.

Fortunately the PitWagon also has his car. Unfortunately when you add a
car this way you don't get a textured crew. Or is it just that the
PitWagon files don't include that? Does anyone know how or where to get
textures for the crew?

Hmm, also Dave Marcis,*** Trickle, Shawna Robinson, Mike Wallace, and
probably a few others I didn't catch. Looks like the Pit Wagon has most
of them. The complete NASCAR Winston Cup driver list is at

The Pit Crew Textures are included in the individual Car files. So if the
D/L'ed car doesn't have a textured (IE: all Black) Pitcrew, then the painter
didn't include the crew.

I did find out, after downloading some more files, that so far
Sterling's car is the only one (of the ones that I have downloaded)
which is missing pit crew textures. I guess I can probably paint them
myself, but I want to see first if there is an easy way to just cut and
paste one of the generic pit crew textures from one of the other
downloaded files.

If you want to just "cut and Paste" a crew from one of the other cars, then
all you need to do is go to the pit crew tab in the paintkit (In-Game) and
then press the export button, then save the file as anything that you will
remember. Then go choose the car you would like to "paste" them into and
choose the Pit crew tab again and then press the import button and pick the
File that you saved the original as and then "ok". If done correctly you
should have that pit crew in that new car paint scheme. Then all you have to
do is save the changes.
