I e-mailed Daxe Rexford with a personal apology, on my part, as it was
my miss calculating (and perhaps acting before thinking) which began
this flaming contest.

I have been to PC World this morning and now recognise that I was
incorrect in my previous statement.

I am never too proud to admit that I am wrong, as long as I believe
that I _am_ wrong.

I was wrong about this, and so I apologise!

I hope there are no hard feelings...

None whatsoever.  Thank you for being a mature and honorable person (I wish I
was, more often).  I feel better about you not laboring under a misconception
than about me being correct.

Sorry to you and the group for taking up so much time and space bickering.

I didn't hear anybody else complaing. Perhaps they thought it made an
entertaining read?

No, perhaps not.

Windows 95 doesn't benifit much from above 64MB, and Windows 98 doesn't
benifit much from above 128.

Until MS optimizes these OS's, 256MB for anyone other than a heavy
graphics pro is overkill and money better spent elsewhere...

Windows 2000 is a different story...
