GPL and CH pedals and Logitech?

by The Thomas' » Wed, 29 Aug 2001 07:51:12

Hi

I just bought some used CH pedals to go with my Logitech formula force
wheel.  Is there anyway to get this to work without having to take apart the
pedal base of each?  The wheel is a hooked up through USB and the pedals
through the game port.  I will convert eventually but i would like to try
them out first.

Thanks

I connected my T2 to the gameport and set it to controller id#2.  My
TMFF/USB was on controller id#1.  GPL saw it no problem.  You'll get a
">" button in the controller calibration screen to select the next
device to calibrate.

Jason.

You need to plug a joystick into the pedals or use a special driver from

Ive been presented with this same problem recently as i prepare to get a USB
wheel to go with custom pedals.

GPL has a very good calibration system for detecting multiple controllers
iirc (someone refresh me if im wrong). If u have the logi installed with its
drivers and u are able to add the CH pedals in game controllers then GPL
should detect all the axes np's

I have same wheel and pedals and this is what worked for me: In ***
options make TWO
2-axis, 2-button joysticks and your wheel normally. One of the joysticks
will be actually your pedals and the second will say "not connected". But if
you remove "not connected"-joystick the pedals wont work. This sounds weird
(it`s Windows!), but it works.
