I just ran a race at Spa.  On about lap 22 I came upon Hakkinen (2nd)
who was tailing Brabham (20th).  I was in third place at the time.  As
we came into the curve I saw marshalls waving yellow flags so I paused
the game to view ahead where the accident occured.  Verstappen spun into
the gravel and was waiting to get back in line so there was no danger.
I went back to the game and as we came around the corner Brabham moved
off line left to allow Mika by him.  As Mika Squeaked by, I tried the
same.  I just barely touched Brabham and pushed him into Verstappen's
car which had been announced to be out of the race.  I heard a big bang
as I went by and Hakkinen and I were free and clear.  I paused again so
that I could watch the spectacular mess I caused.......OOPS!!!!!!

When I viewed the replay nothing was as it had been when I was driving
twenty seconds before.  What I saw was Hakinnen slamming Verstappen at
120mph and hitting the wall.  That pushed Verstappen's car onto the
track where my car collected him.  I lost my front wing and spun in the
grass.  Verstappen managed to start his car and continue unharmed
-huh?!?- behind Brabham who was also unharmed.

So the result of the replay was that I headed to the pits -eventually to
win the race, Hakinnen was out of the race, Verstappen -who had been
out- went on to finish 16th, and Brabham finished 20th.

What the hell is that??????? I must say that I am impressed with and
enjoy this game very much, but that is rediculous.  Should never happen
and it better be in a patch or update.

No, its not just at Spa.  I've was once 18 seconds in the lead at Montreal as I came
up on a back marker on lap 10.  It was just as we both approached the last hairpin that
I managed to get past him but I mis-judged my braking (I braked too early).  This
allowed the back marker to get past me again on the right hand side going into the
corner.

I decided to replay the action so I could see where I went wrong.  I followed the car
around the hairpin then paused the game.

On the replay, the back marker decided that this time he was going to try and squeeze
down the left had side of me!  The result was that he got airborne and punted me
off the track on his return to earth!  Try as I might, nothing would change this
alternate reality replay.  The replay ended with me accelerating back along the track
in the wrong direction!!  I tried to turn the car around but couldn't without loosing
10 places or colliding with the second placed car.  In the end I gave up.

I've e-mailed Spectrum Holobyte about this but had no reply in over 2 weeks.

Speaking of replay bugs or whatever, I noticed yesterday that I could
NOT get the final race results to print after I had been using GP2
for many hours.  Was this a memory problem I wonder?  (16 Meg).  It
just seemed as if all my system resources (non-W95 install) were gone
and wouldn't let GP2 print a full page.  

Just another to add to the bug list.  I'll keep trying it though, maybe it
was something I did...
