replay in GP2?

by Wolfgang Prei » Wed, 24 Jul 1996 04:00:00

Hi everybody!

Maybe I'm just plain stupid (no answer required ;) but I can't find a
way to make GP2 show me a decent replay. The only option I found so
far is to pause the game and press 'R' - but the result is only a clip
of the last 20 seconds. Then, there are the "hot laps" (more "luke
warm laps" in my case so far...), but they aren't either what I expect
from a replay.

What I'm looking for is something like the replay function in ICR(2)
or Nascar, which shows entire 20%-lenght races on my machine (16MB).
Is there some feature like that in GP2?

Thanks

No. Hotlaps and the in-race 20 seconds is all you get. A bit annoying
really.

a BIT annoying?  How about INANE.  I would love to talk with the person
who made this stupid decision to have hot-lap replays, and 20 second
race replays, but not generic replays.

For the life of me I cannot figure out why they would handicap the game
with such idiocy.. unless there was some techinical issue.

I am steamed about this... just plain stupid.
