Hello. I just got my copy of Indycar 2. (2D version)
And I downloaded Verite patch from Sierra ftp site, ant patched the game.

And it doesn't run at all.

I changed my memory setting, etc.

I'm using 3DB with Screamin' 3D bios, and it worked great.
(VGA, SVGA(VESA), Win95, DirectDraw and Direct3D work nicely.)

What should I do now?

I had similar problems.

I tried with the DMA mode, didn't work on a brand new mother board ????
Used the IO mode.
Removed my EMM386 => not enough memory to run the game.
Removed drivers ect. ect. to free memory, and then, finally, after hours of
editing and rebooting.
IT WORKED ;-)
Gave me 30+++++ frames.......
