I have been unable to install the Pits Touring car
patch V2.01 successfully, and I wonder if it is related to the
problem below ?
Here's what I have done :-
Did full install of N2 (v1.01).
Added the 2 fantasy tracks and the converted ICR2 tracks.
Patched to v1.02.
Patched to v1.03.
Checked it all worked so far. It did.
Unzipped the Touring car cars into the /cars directory.
Installed and ran the Pits TCC patch. It looked as though
it was happy - no unfound or not changed files.
Now when I run N2 (in DOS mode I should add) the movie
appears, then the Papyrus/Pits screen, then a register
dump appears and the PC re-boots and restarts Windows 95.
It never gets as far as the Single Race/OPtions/Exit screen.
Any ideas as to what this might be ?
I notice from below that the original cars were deleted
first, do I need to do that before unzipping the Pits TCC cars ?
Does this sound like the "too many tracks" problem - is
this how it shows itself (even though it all worked after the
two Papy patches) ?
Any help appreciated.
