Once more... F1 2000 and FF

I had been arguing about the shitty FF in F1 2000, saying that it's
non-existent... I've been pulling out my hair (and I shave my head, so
you can imagine how painful that can be!) trying to figure it out. Even
putting the centering spring at 150%, once out of the pits... nothing!
Screwing around with the profiler ever since I got the game, I finally
noticed a small feature on it. There is an options tab where you can
check "apply profile to game". DOH!!! I've been creating profiles but
never applying them! I guess i've just been lucky that GPL has wonderful
force-feedback, cause I guess I've never actually altered it even tho I
thought I had! I still think that something is wrong that there is no
tire-to-pavement friction outside of the pits (bumps on the road, curbs,
grass & gravel feel great), but at least I have the centering spring
enabled to simulate that friction feeling.
I guess beer *does* kill brain cells!

Warlock!
