Am I one of the few to have experienced a total exec crash with the latest
patch? I don't read much about it here, so I figure something happened on my
machine.

Had to reload GPL. I don't dare to re-install the patch.. I lost a year of
accomplishments because of it..

I haven't heard of that either. But if you race online I highly recommend the
1.2 patch.
With 1.2 and WinVROC it is so good....
imo it was well worth reinstalling GPL, I did it.

Just copy your players folder to a different place and put it back once you
reinstall. Saves all your setups at least. You can do the same with your
replay folder if you want to keep them too. It should work with the track
files too.

A small tip if your going to re-install GPL is to save a copy of your
player.ini
file, you can find it in the gpl\players\your name folder,
before you un-install. Then when you re-install cut and paste it back in
that way you wont loose your hard earned lap times.
